Lab Assistant

Performs tasks that are necessary to support pre-testing and post-testing functions within CentraCare Health Laboratories. Assists the Manager with planning, coordinating, organizing, and performing the workload.
Schedule:
- Full-time | 72-74 hours per two weeks
- Days| 7:45am-5pm Mon-Friday with one fluctuating day off per week | Occasional shifts going to 5:30pm
- No weekends or holidays.
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour and increases with experience
Pay range: $17.00 - $27.61 per hour

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification from or in the process of pursuing a degree from an accredited laboratory or medicine-related program (Phlebotomy, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Laboratory Assistant, etc.) preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills necessary
