The Facilities Services Regulatory manager oversees and integrates compliance leadership with the facilities operations in the development and management of applicable regulatory agency requirements across the system. The manager ensures that all facility assets, life safety system, and documentation meet regulatory requirements, and that the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data supports accurate documentation and survey readiness. This position will monitor and provide executive level reporting on the performance and execution of regulatory compliance.Education Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages accreditation and regulatory compliance programs for Life Safety and Physical Environment
- Develops and executes the system wide Life Safety and regulatory compliance strategy
- Directs the CMMS program, including system configuration, data governance, user training, and reporting
- Oversee Life Safety drawings, building assessments, and compliance documentation for all campuses
- Lead systemwide readiness for Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and state regulatory surveys
- Establish KPIs for maintenance compliance, asset reliability, and life safety performance
- Provide executive-level reporting and risk assessments
- Mentor and develop Life Safety Specialist
- Ensure CMMS data integrity, including asset hierarchies, PM completion/frequencies, and documentation of testing/inspection/maintenance
- Oversee documentation required for joint commission and Department of Health standards
- Develop policies, procedures, and standard work for compliance and CMMS workflow
- Oversees CMMS and regulatory Governance committees
- Support capital planning by analyzing asset conditions, lifecycle data, and regulatory risk
- Supervise regulatory compliance documentation, CMMS administration, and regulatory readiness
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, facilities management, environmental and health, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or technical discipline
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years in a management or regulatory compliance role, preferably in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred 5 years of Healthcare regulatory compliance
- ASHE Physical Environment worker education
- Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM)
- Emergency readiness training
- Safety Officer training
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
- ICRA 2.0 certified required within 1 year of employment
