We are hiring a Woodworker Associate!
Fast-paced and exciting job responsibilities include the operation of various power and hand tools to manufacture high-quality sauna wood components. General hours are 6 am to 3 pm Monday-Thursday and 6 am to noon on Fridays. No weekend work!
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Enthusiasm, energy, and reliability
- 1 - 2 years of Woodworking experience
- Ability to use a tape measure
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Ability to work over-time - mainly starting at 5:00 am
- Excellent organizational skills/self-motivated
- Ability to work well alone or with others
- Work environment does require safety glasses and hearing protection both of which are provided.
- Work enviroment does require safety shoes, not provided by the company.
Other Essential Job Functions
- Provide regular, consistant and timely attendance
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs frequently and 70-100 lbs occassionally
- Work in an environment that has the potential for wood dust particles to be floating in the air
- Some overtime may be required
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Education or GED
1 year in a woodworking or manufacturing enviroment preferred
Ability to lift 75 – 100 lbs occassionally
