CATCHING MAINTENANCE TECH

POSITION SUMMARY: The Catching Maintenance Tech is responsible for servicing and repair of the live haul equipment with an emphasis on forklifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Services all the live haul forklifts. Oil changes, weekly greasing, bills out parts on completed repairs.
- Daily repair of the forklifts.
- Washes the forklift, track, equipment trailer and truck of all manure and dirt to maintain the highest levels of bio security.
- Repairs safe zone units and weekly garbage.
- Helps back up personal repairing mods and track.
- All other duties as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS and BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid drivers license is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, 100 pounds with assistance.
- Considerable ability to climb and wash the equipment.
- Considerable ability to work outside during all seasonal conditions and in the dark, dirty conditions.
- Considerable skills in communication with shop employees and drivers including reading and writing English.
