Job Description

About the Role: A growing dairy manufacturing company in Western Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily processing operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to learn multiple production functions while supporting safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Dairy manufacturing experience is required!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support raw dairy processing operations, equipment startup, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
  • Conduct quality checks and maintain meticulous production and traceability documentation.
  • Monitor processing systems and communicate equipment or product abnormalities quickly.
  • Follow strict GMPs, SOPs, sanitation (CIP), and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Assist with inventory counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as backup support for Raw Dairy Operations leadership and provide coverage across multiple areas as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of dairy manufacturing or fluid processing experience required.
  • Strong understanding of GMPs, SOPs, food safety, and sanitation (CIP) systems.
  • Knowledge of raw milk handling, HTST systems, or cultures is highly preferred.
  • Pasteurization License, Bulk Milk Weigher & Sampler License, and Appendix N certification are a major plus (or the ability to obtain them).
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to grow.
