One Stop Student Worker
Position purpose
The One Stop Student Worker is to support the daily operations of the One Stop office while providing high-quality front-line service to students, families, and campus partners. Student workers help create an efficient and welcoming environment where students can receive assistance with a variety of administrative and academic support needs
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Front Desk & Customer Service
- Greet students, families, and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Answer general questions related to registration, financial aid, billing, student accounts, and more.
- Assist the One Stop in maintaining University Office Hours from 8:00am - 4:30p Monday - Friday in part-time shifts to ensure consistent, dependable service.
- Student Support
- Assist students with processes such as navigating University sites, programs and platforms, locating files, and filling out documentation.
- Help students avoid and resolve account holds and restrictions.
- Administrative Support
- Scan, enter, file, and organize student data or documents.
- Assist with special projects, peak registration periods, and campus-wide events.
- Register student account payments and general university funds
- Communication
- Answer phone calls and incoming emails in a timely and accurate manner.
- Office Operations
- Maintain a well-organized, welcoming, and professional environment.
- Currently enrolled student at NCU
- Confidentiality, Integrity, & Professionalism
- Organization & Attention to Detail
- Must complete additional interview questions on student employment application
- A standard background check will be conducted during the hiring process
- Hiring timeline: 2-4 weeks from interview
- Hours/week: 10-15 hours
- Time: Office Hours Posted (8am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday)
