The City of Osseo is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as our Finance Director. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing all municipal financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, audits, enterprise funds, and long-range financial planning.
The Finance Director works closely with the City Administrator and City Council to ensure the City’s financial stability and compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulations. This position also supervises finance staff and provides oversight of specialized municipal operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible accounting or public finance experience
Supervisory experience preferred
Municipal/government accounting experience strongly preferred
