Job Summary: The Driver Trainee position is designed to train and develop New Team Members and assist them with attaining their Class A Drivers License. You will advance from a Driver Trainee to a Route Driver and have a designated route. Our Route Drivers work local route 4 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
  • Rotate and merchandise beverages at customer accounts
  • Complete daily routes as scheduled, with accuracy and efficiency
  • Load and unload goods safely and securely
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

  • Four, 10-hour days
  • 4:00AM-route completion
  • Tuesday-Friday
  • Have a valid Drivers License
  • Have a driving record which meets Bernicks standard
  • Have your Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) prior to start date (required)
  • Lift and move product weighing 50-165 pounds
  • Bend, lift, twist, while moving product off the truck
