Job Description

A well-established and highly respected fire protection company is actively seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
& Design and develop fire sprinkler systems including layouts, hydraulic calculations, and material/equipment selection
& Create and revise drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM platforms
& Ensure all designs meet NFPA standards, local codes, and project requirements
& Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle
& Prepare submittals, project documentation, and technical specifications
& Assist with project timelines, change orders, and ongoing design support

Qualifications:
& 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler system design
& NICET certification is preferred but not required
& Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or related design software
& Strong understanding of NFPA codes and fire protection standards
& Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
& Strong communication and organizational skills

Education & Certifications:
& Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
& Equivalent industry experience will also be considered
& NICET Level II or higher is a plus
