OVERVIEW:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily production of aggregate screens, conveyor belting, and related products. This position supports shop personnel, helps coordinate production schedules, orders raw materials, and assists in ensuring products are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The Production Coordinator works closely with the Parts Manager to support customer needs, maintain workflow priorities, and promote a productive team environment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced warehouse production setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and support daily metal screen cloth and belt production operations to include:
- Measuring
- Shearing
- Hooking and packing
- Train and coordinate production staff to support efficient production operations
- Safely operate forklifts to support production operations
- Promote and enforce safe work practices and company policies
- Schedule and prioritize production workflow to meet deadlines
- Monitor product quality and ensure specifications are met
- Order and maintain inventory of raw materials and shop supplies
- Coordinate with the Parts Manager regarding production schedules, priorities, and inventory needs
- Track production progress and communicate updates as needed
- Assist with process improvement and workflow efficiency initiatives
- Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained and organized
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Required to follow all safety policies and procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and production personnel regarding workflow, priorities, and project status
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with inventory or material ordering preferred
- Basic computer skills; prior ERP or inventory system experience preferred

NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
