Job Summary<5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

The Warehouse Assistant Manager will support daily warehouse operations and staff in the day-to-day activities to ensure timely, safe and efficient operations.<5c pan=""><5c>\n

Hours and Wages<5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

  • Available Shifts:<5c pan="">\n
      \n
    • Monday - Friday 1:00PM start<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Monday - Friday 5:00PM start<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Monday - Friday 11:00PM start<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n<5c i="">\n
    • May be expected to cover variable shifts based on business needs <5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Voluntary OT on weekends (as needed) <5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Starting wage: $26.00- 30.00 per hour, based on experience, plus shift differential<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n

      Duties and Responsibilities<5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

      • Support salaried managers with day-to-day warehouse and operations<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Perform hands-on warehouse and operational tasks during peak periods and provide route coverage as needed.<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Support the tracking, preparation, and maintenance of department reports<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Help promote and support compliance with safety, DOT, and company policies<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Monitor warehouse activity, attendance, and productivity; report concerns or trends to management<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Support trailer cuts and freight flow to ensure timely branch deliveries<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Work alongside warehouse leadership to help resolve employee issues and escalate concerns as appropriately<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Participate in weekly meetings<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Support training activities, onboarding, and job shadowing as directed<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Assistant in parking and fueling the vehicles<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • May serve as a lead or point of contact for employees during assigned shifts when management is unavailable<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Travel may be required<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
      • Perform other duties as assigned<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n

        • Working knowledge of transportation, warehouse, and DOT regulations<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
        • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
        • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
        • Dependable, safety-focused, and professional work ethic<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
        • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n

          Education and Experience<5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

          • At least 21 years of age<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
          • High school diploma or equivalent required<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
          • Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, or related field preferred<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
          • Must hold a valid CDL Class A license or<5c trong=""> successfully complete a company-paid CDL training program within 90 days of employment<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
          • Prior experience in transportation, warehouse, or logistics operations preferred<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
          • 1 years of leadership experience preferred<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n

            Physical Requirements<5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

            • Ability to pass a DOT physical exam<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
            • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
            • Ability to work with all types of freight, including hazardous materials, perishable foods and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n
